The Trevelez village at the top of the Sierra Nevada mountains is renowned as the finest producers of Serrano ham in the world and this 24 month cured Serrano Ham is the premium offering from this artisan cooperative. It was even given the Royal Seal of Approval in 1862.
Due to the high altitude, this allows the curing process to use less salt than usual leading to a sweet soft texture which is why many believe this ham to be one of the finest in the world.
All our cured meats are hand-carved upon order confirmation and then vacuum-packed and posted the same day ensuring all our products reach you in the best condition possible. Though not necessary as all our meats are cured, they are packaged in waxed cardboard boxes with cooling pouches as a precaution.
To maximise flavour all our cured meats should be served at room temperature.
